Rick left Clark early to go over to one of the residence halls because a water pipe/main had busted and there was water in residents' computers. There was enough water that turning the keyboards over had water draining out of them. I guess that's why Housing tells us that we leave our items in our room over break periods at our own risk... Some kids ain't coming back to a pleasant surprise in January.
Once again FedEx delivered my package a day early, that being my Viper 791XV. Too bad the ebay pulled the auction since the sell apparently was using copyrighted/patented material to advertise the auction. I was informed by them NOT to complete the transaction, after I had already payed for it, and received a tracking number. So I have something to do this weekend :)
Finals, well they're finished, took them both on Saturday. The first one, was pretty much similar to the sample exam she gave us a week in advance, so that was easy. The second one was open book, and about a third of the questions were straight out of the homeworks and old exams. Of course I flipped to them to make sure I wasn't omitting any important details. At least I've learnt something this semester, feels that way at least, the whole ruin theory, simulation and brownian motion stuff.
Seen two movies so far, Blade: Trinity, and I haven't seen the first two. Of course with a description like "... Blade follows a trail of blood to an ancient creature that is hunting him...the original vampire, Dracula.", it makes me wonder what kids 20 years from now, maybe 10 years from now will think of that movie... Probably the same thing I think after seeing it, it's not all that good, but maybe I should have seen the first two. Then I saw National Treasure on Sunday night, which was awesome. I was expecting the 'Hey thanks for finding the treasure for us' from the bad guys, and the good guys are on the verge of being killed. Nope that didn't happen, they sent the bad guys on a wild goose chase, and went about finding the treasure themselves... Next move on the list, Oceans 12.
